This is the Department for Infrastructure's Annual Report on the operation of its Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Road Races (Bushwhacker Rally) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 154) which will come into operation on 22 September 2017.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Road Races (Knockagh Hill Climb) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 153) which will come into operation on 15 September 2017.

NI Water commenced work on a large-scale flood alleviation project for the Upper Newtownards Road / Knock Road area of East Belfast on Monday 5 June. The work being carried out on the Upper Newtownards Road and Knock Road will continue until early September 2017.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Road Races (Eagles Rock Hill Climb) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 150) which will come into operation on 25 August 2017.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Road Races (Sunset Rally) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 151) which will come into operation on 24 August 2017.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Road Races (Ulster Grand Prix Bike Week) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 149) which will come into operation on 8 August 2017.

The Grants to Water and Sewerage Undertakers Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 was affirmed by the Assembly on the 23 January 2017 and came into operation on the 1st April 2017.

The Drainage (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017 tranpose the 2014 EU Directive on the Assessment of the effects of projects on the environment. (2014 EIA Directive).

Regulations to remove the requirement on Northern Ireland Water to install water meters at domestic properties, connecting to the public water supply for the first time. were approved by the Assembly on the 5 December 2016 and came into operation on 7 December 2016

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Dromore) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017, (S.R. 2017 No. 121), which comes into operation on 21 July 2017.

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking Places, Loading Bay and Waiting Restrictions (Newcastle) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 128) which will come into operation on 21 July 2017.
