Why do you have my picture?
We use pictures of children in our Road Safety Calendar. We take pictures across Northern Ireland, and may have come to your school to photograph you and your friends.
This is so children in school across Northern Ireland can see pictures of how to be safe.
When we have your picture, we might use it in one of our calendars. If you don’t want us to use your picture, we will make sure we don’t use it again.
You or your parent or guardian can write to us to ask for your picture not to be used in any more calendars. The address is at the top of the page.
Do you have anything else about me?
If we have your picture, we will also have your name, age and school, so we know it’s you.
Do you share my picture with anyone else?
No, we will only use your picture for our calendar. The calendar is only given to schools.
How long will you keep it for?
We will keep your picture for five years, then we will delete it.
How do I complain if I am not happy?
If you are unhappy with how we are keeping your picture or other information, you or your parent or guardian can write to:
