The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 8) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023”, (S.R. 2023 No. 205) which comes into operation on 28 December 2023.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast, Dundonald, Glenarm, Larne and Londonderry, a parking place with waiting limited to 2 hours Monday to Saturday between 8.00 am and 6.00 p.m. with no return to a parking place for 2 hours at Coalisland, and remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Ballymena, Carnlough, and Londonderry.
