Summary

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion that the road is not necessary for road traffic, gives notice of its intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be to abandon an area of 2583 square metres of superseded road adjacent to Armagh Road, Moy, from a point 99.5 metres south-east of the junction of Old Bog Road and Armagh Road extending for a length of 212 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Inspecting the proposal

The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 13 June 2024 to 24 July 2024 at:

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email to southernlandsteam@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Making an objection

Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing southernlandsteam@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
