The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Prohibition of U-Turn (Ballygawley) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No. 120), which comes into operation on 24 June 2024.

The Rule will prohibit vehicles proceeding in either direction along Omagh Road, Ballygawley from making a U-Turn on that road from its junction with Ballygawley Roundabout to a point 350 metres north-west of that junction. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 02882 254085.
