The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No. 24) which comes into operation on 22 March 2024.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast, Dundonald, Enniskillen, Gilford, Larne, Londonderry, Newry, Rathfriland and Warrenpoint and remove parking places at Clogher and Larne and amend the description of an existing parking place in Clogher.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
