DfI latest news

Work will take place from Monday 23 January 2023 to Monday 20 March 2023 and will last no more than three weeks on any of the seven roads.  Road closures and local diversions will be necessary to help ensure the safety of those using the road and to facilitate the works.  Any closure will be restricted to 08.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday and the roads will be open evenings and weekends.  Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained although some minor delays may be experienced.

Completion of the work by 20 March 2023 is dependent on favourable weather conditions.  The Department will keep the public informed of any change.  All work will be carried out in line with current public health and safety advice, with safe systems of working in place for staff and contractors.
