The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Newtownabbey) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022.” (S.R. 2022 No. 37) which comes into operation on 4 March 2022.
The Rule will introduce no waiting at any time restrictions (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Glenwell Road, Michelin Road and Trench Road, Newtownabbey. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.
During the current Covid-19 restrictions, a copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email transportni.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
