The above application was approved in 2017. Signs have been placed on the roundabout giving directions to a well-known fast food outlet.
As you are aware it is a condition of the Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 that before the advertisement to which the Consent relates is displayed, the permission of the owner of the land or building or other person entitled to grant permission must be obtained.
The regulations state at Schedule 1 Standard Conditions (4.) No advertisement may be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission.
The application was made on Form A1 'Application for Consent to Display an Advertisement'
As the Department are the 'owners of the land or building or other person entitled to grant permission' I should like copies of all recorded information in respect of the permission applied for and agreed to between DfI and Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.
