A £130,000 road improvement scheme has commenced on the Ballynakilly Road, Coalisland.
Preliminary works are already underway to upgrade the drainage with resurfacing due to commence on 12 February.
To facilitate the resurfacing and ensure the safety of road users and contractors it will be necessary to operate a road closure from Monday 12 February.
The A45 Ballynakilly Road will then be closed to through traffic from its junction with U1029 Coash Road to the U1027 Hackingblock Road.
A diversion will be clearly signposted via the B520 Moor Road, Annagher Road, B520 Stewartstown Road, B520 Lineside and B520 Dungannon Road.
Access will be facilitated for residents and business owners within the extent of the works.
Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
As with all schemes of this type the planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions.
