Date published: 27 September 2016

Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard has announced that a £205,000 road improvement scheme on B77 Red Lion Road in Loughgall is set to begin on Thursday 2 October.

Lane closure during resurfacing work

Resurfacing will take place on approximately 2.7 kilometres of the B77 Red Lion Road from Lissheffield Road to Red Lion Cross Roads. Work is expected to be complete by Monday 24 October.

Minister Chris Hazzard said:

“This investment will deliver significant improvements on the B77 in the Loughgall area and serve the community for many years.”

To help ensure the safety of road users and contractors, traffic management will be in place. Any diversions will be well sign posted and local access will be maintained.

The Department has planned the works operations and traffic management to minimise any inconvenience, however, drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when travelling in the area.
