Plan Oversight may process personal data in order to carry out the functions listed below.

• The consideration of plan related documents at each stage of the consultation process
• To carry out a plan scrutiny role as part of the two-tier planning system

Our lawful basis for processing this personal data is the compliance with a legal obligation under part two of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011. Details of all the relevant legislation can be found on our website at: https://www.planningni.gov.uk/

What categories of personal data are you processing?

Name, address, telephone number and email address of consultees or interested parties.

Where do you get my personal data from?

Information may be given to us by local councils as we process each plan stage.

Do you share my personal data with anyone else?

We do not share personal data with any other organisation.

Do you transfer my personal data to other countries?

Your information is not being transferred to any country other than Northern Ireland.

How long do you keep my personal data?

Personal data received will only be retained for as long as necessary to process and in line with our Retention and Disposal Schedule. 

What rights do I have?

• You have the right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed, and access to your personal data
• You are entitled to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete
• You have the right to object to the processing
