Abandonment and Stopping-Up Orders 2019
Topics:
Abandonment is the removal of part or all of a road (e.g. carriageway, verge, footway, footpath, lay-by etc) from the public road network so that the public right of way over it no longer applies. The reason for the removal is normally that that part of the road is no longer necessary.
